"Mandana and I (and our three boys) look forward to your joining the Winthrop House community; we are excited about the fresh energy and enthusiasm we know you will bring to the House. There are many ways to get to know people -- eating together, hanging out, talking about families, working out intellectual and career issues, arguing about politics, doing sports, watching performances -- and we would like to do them all, plus others that you may think of. Talk to us about what matters to you, and we will listen and think about what we can do."
